Cyberbullying Conference in April 2016 in Gothenburg, Sweden!

Cyberbullying is a form of bullying that takes place in a new context: on the internet and through a variety of modern electronic devices/media. Cyberbullying presents challenges for researchers regarding several aspects such as: the lack of common methodology, the relationship to traditional bullying, and how to develop plans for prevention and intervention strategies against cyberbullying. Similarly, school personnel need to be able to prevent and intervene successfully with cyberbullying situations in schools.

To meet the challenges for researchers and practitioners the University of Gothenburg, City of Gothenburg, Gothenburg Region of Association of Local Authorities, Friends, and the International Bullying Prevention Association are jointly organizing a conference on cyberbullying, 21-22th April 2016. The goal with the conference is that researchers and practitioners meet and share their knowledge concerning cyberbullying. Visit the website and register today!
